I think that telling the staff that you don't want Mav transported any where without you being present *unless it's a true emergency* is totally appropriate. At this point in time, you truly know what is best for Mav. Don't worry too much about being "that mom". It's in his best interest. The staff at OU just doesn't know Mav like we did.
